Setting up your Advance Payments Account for Stripe

Passing your Stripe revenue through your Advance Payments Account (issued by one of our bank partners), makes it possible to access fast, frictionless financing with the click of a button. Follow the steps below to set up your seamless payment solution.

Add your Advance Payments Account to Stripe

Stripe makes it easy to switch your account for payouts. First, add your Advance Payments Account to Stripe by following the steps below.

  1. Click on the link below to access Settings from your Stripe dashboard. This will take you to ‘External payout accounts and scheduling.'

    Go to Stripe settings
  2. Click the Edit button next to your bank account.

  3. Replace the current bank account information with your Advance Payments Account routing and account numbers. This information can be found in the Advance Payments Account setup page on your platform.

  4. Click “Edit account” to confirm changes. You’ll now see a bank account labeled ‘First Internet Bank of Indiana,’ which is who provides your Advance Payments Account.

Click the link in your confirmation email

Click on the link in the email confirmation you receive from Stripe. You’ll be redirected to your dashboard to login and confirm the account change.

Set up automatic daily payouts

Your payout schedule will default to whatever you previously set up. We recommend setting the automatic transfer schedule to ‘every day’ to ensure there’s no delay from Stripe in sending your revenue.

Await confirmation

Once you've completed setup, click "Continue" to return to your dashboard. If you haven’t already, you can request your advance during this time.

Next, Stripe will process the switch to your Advance Payments Account. Please note Stripe can take up to 7 days to complete this update.

The first time revenue hits your Advance Payments Account, you'll be fully ready to go and your requested funds will be sent to your designated advance payout account!
